| Out of the Mouths of Babes Our oldest two children, Hanna and David, are 21 months apart. Hanna was fairly articulate
when David was born and she took quite an interest in him, partly out of curiosity and
partly because she had been displaced as the center of attention. She did grow love him
and show a great deal of concern for him.
One day when David
was about 2 months old he was suffering from a very sore little bottom, that was the
result of taking an antibiotic for an ear infection, Hanna walked into the room while
Bernadine (Mom) was changing David’s diaper. Hanna looked at his red bottom and said,
"How’s his rear infection?" |
