| Out of the Mouths of Babes I have a four-year-old daughter,
named Kaila. One evening we were reading the story of the "Three
Little Pigs". I came to the part where it says, "….and the
big, bad wolf."
She looked up and said, "Mommy, do they have to
say that?"
I told her that is what the book says and she
responded, "Don't they know how judgmental that is?"
Needless to say, the Three Pigs are sitting on the
shelf and we will wait until they come up with a version that judges the
wolf's actions after he committed the wrong doing.
