Art Day

Every Friday is Art Day! We use the last Friday of the month to create birthday cards for every family member celebrating a birthday during the next month, these dates are recorded on our school calendar.

Other Art day projects could include field trips to art museums, try an Internet field trip, see the Crayola site for a field trip on making markers or crayons.

Your first art activity could be to make the "Splat Mat", or try teaching a different medium and tie the projects into what you are currently studying.

Art day on Friday is a fun way to end the week on a positive note and also something for the children to look forward to during the week.

Use your imagination and watch our craft section for ideas to do throughout the school year.
