Full Moon

I mark each Full Moon on the calendar. Children are fascinated by the Full Moon. Here is a possible Home school tradition idea. Do something fun on each Full Moon, under the Full Moon.

• Read books by flashlight out on the trampoline, or a picnic blanket
• Go on a moonlit hike
• Go fishing
• Go camping
• Serenade a neighbor
• Have a moonlit picnic
• Read about Man’s first step on the moon
• Study about other peoples customs as regards a full moon
• Take treats to a neighbor
• Sit around a campfire
• Tell stories
• Go for a moonlit swim
